The current edition of the plant blog carnival Berry Go Round #33 is up at 10,000 Birds. It points to some terrific articles about plants.
One that particularly drew my attention was a post about bittersweet at SilverLining. There are two, unrelated, bittersweets in North America, both invasive. This post is about the Asian bittersweet and does a remarkable job of showing just how destructive a vine can be.
Every single one of the articles is worth reading, so go enjoy yourself.

About Mary
I spent a few years at sea, and I never came back from a cruise without having learned something new about the ocean or what lived in it. After retiring to Panama, I began to learn something new about the tropical savanna ecosystem nearly every day I stepped outside. I focused on plants, those marvelous signs of life. Now I'm in my second retirement, living in Sicily. I'm leaving my plant studies online for those who have found them useful.
Love the new blog.
Thanks, Don!
